Brandon Jennings is the explosive young point guard for the Milwaukee Bucks. Brandon Jennings Training Program has helped him to develop into one of basketball's best young superstars.
After graduating from Oak Hill Academy in 2007, Jennings bypassed a committment to play college basketball at the University of Arizona and jumped straight into pro basketball in Italy to play for Lottomatica Roma. He entered the 2009 NBA Draft and was selected 10th overall by the Bucks. As a rookie, he became the youngest player ever to score 55 points in a game when he exploded for a career night against the Golden State Warriors.
Not content to rely only on his blazing speed and considerable basketball skills, Jennings has worked over the offseason to increase his functional basketball strength. His goal is to become the best overall point guard in professional basketball.
The core exercises in Brandon Jennings Training Program consist of:
TRX Squat Row: One-Two sets of 15
Side Walking Push-ups: Four sets of 15 feet in each direction
Squat Into Overhand Reach: One-Two sets of 15
Explosive Bosu Push-ups: One-Two sets of 10
Bumbell Push-up Into Reaxh Press: One-Two sets of 8 on each side
Jennings rotates these core exercises throughout his program, and depending on the day adjusts the weights and intensity. Some days he will go for lighter weights at a higher intensity. Other days, he'll lift heaviesr at lower intensity. The goal is to improve in four key areas: strength, power, endurance, and balance.
