MMA TRAINING

MMA Training is on the rise given the fact that Mixed Martial Arts is one of the fastest growing sports in the world. It is a form of combat that requires emphasis on multiple disciplines to be successful, such as striking, wrestling, and submission arts like Brazilian Jiu-jitsu. In this demanding sport, competitors need to possess not only strength, speed, and explosiveness, but also monster cardio, and more. So its no surprise to see that some of the most well conditioned athletes in the world are emerging such as George St. Pierre and Brock Lesnar.

Mixed Martials Arts began their rise to popularity with the introduction of the sport in the United States at the first Ultimate Fighting Championship event in 1993. The initial show featured an array of fighters from fighting styles such as Kenpo, Pancrase, Boxing, and Savate in cage match fighting, where almost anything went. However, the show was stolen by a lanky, 175 lb competitor named Royce Gracie, who dazzled the crowd, and his foes, with a technical dispay of grappling known as Brazilian Jiu-jitsu that demonstrated the need for well-rounded fighting skills. From that moment on, MMA began its long rise to prominence, and the status is enjoys today as one of the toughest and most exciting sports in the world.

Try some of these challenging conditioning programs to develop a well-rounded skill set of your own that will utilize your full fighting potential.
